ABOUT NE GA FDW

The Northeast Georgia Federation of Democratic Women unites and supports Democratic Women in Georgia's Northeast corner.  We work towards the identification, support and election of Democrats at federal, state and local levels. We support the projects of the Georgia Federation of Democratic Women, the Democratic Party of Georgia and the local county Democratic Parties of the 9th & 7th Congressional Districts. We work to engage people in the region, and strive to make our communities stronger through our work.

For the upcoming elections, the 9th district is now made up of 12 counties. Banks, Fannin, Gilmer, parts of Gwinnett, Habersham, parts of Hall, Jackson, Rabun, Stephens, Towns, Union, and White counties make up the district.

The counties of Dawson, Forsyth, Lumpkin and parts of Cherokee, Fulton and Hall make up the 7th Congressional district.
