2020 is a historic year. Not only is it the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment granting women the right to vote, it is the year we WILL take back the White House. Additionally, Democrats are stepping up and answering the call like never before, resulting in a record number of candidates running for local, state and national office within the 9th District. We are grateful to all of them for their willingness to lead and look forward to ushering in a new wave of talented, committed Democrats, next year. The 9th District Democratic Women’s Network has re-organized and we are working hard to bring you information about candidates and issues that are important here in the 9th District of Georgia, our state, and beyond. The challenge of dealing with the COVID-19 virus has limited our ability to meet in person. But, we are striving to ensure everyone is kept updated on elections, legislative issues, and other events, through the use of our Facebook page and upcoming virtual candidate town hall events and meetings. In addition, a 9th DDWN newsletter and new website are also projected to be rolled out within this quarter, so please be on the lookout for those! Membership is an important part of our ability to complete the work of the 9th DDWN. This year, we have set a goal of 75 paid members and hope YOU will help us, with the payment of your annual dues. Annual renewal of dues is $10 per person. And as in years past, additional donations are greatly appreciated and will most assuredly be put to good use in the form of advancing our message and supporting our candidates. Since our ability to hold in person meetings is hindered, we are offering a new method for paying dues and donating to the 9th DDWN.
